Alpha – David R. Tappenden, 70, of Alpha, Mich., passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at his home.

David was born on November 14, 1952, in Coldwater, Mich., to the late Richard and Winnifred (Gruner) Tappenden.

He is survived by his daughters, Becky Kissinger (Tim) and Linda Nichols (Mark); grandchildren, Dustin Kissinger, Emily Kissinger, and Matthew Nichols; ex-wife, Karen Hillborg; nephew, Ben Tappenden (Julie); great-niece, Grace Tappenden; and great-nephew, Tyler Tappenden.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Tappenden.
