David B
Stebbins
June 19, 1957 – February 19, 2025
Aurora – David B. Stebbins, 67, of Aurora, Wisc., passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield, Wisc.
He was born on June 19, 1957, to the late Richard and Betty (Johnson) Stebbins.
David was a proud Green Beret who served in the military for 19 years before a devastating accident left him paralyzed. Despite the challenges he faced, David lived a fulfilling life, making lasting friendships and working tirelessly to better his community and country. He was also a successful businessman, co-founding and running Double D with his wife, Diane.
David's greatest joy was spending time with his beloved family, particularly attending his grandchildren's sporting events and supporting them through the hardship of their late father. David's reason for living was to do everything in his power for his family. He was the best husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, and cousin that anyone could've asked for. He will be heartily missed by all.
David's legacy is one of immense strength and dedication, both to his country and his family. He overcame the struggles of his accident with a spirit that inspired those around him. His devotion to his loved ones and his community makes it clear that his impact will be felt for many years to come.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Diane Stebbins; his grandchildren, Autumn and Maya Meno; his siblings, Dale Stebbins (Skeeter) and his wife Elvira Dominguez; nieces and nephews, Mikey (Bree) Stebbins, Joshua (Nicole) Stebbins, Jeremy Stebbins and Christina Norton; and last but not least, his great-nephews, Kai and Mason Stebbins.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his only son, Randy Meno.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Deb Spira will officiate. Burial will take place in the Aurora Cemetery, Aurora, Wisc.
