David Alexander Leskoviansky, 78, of Bessemer, Michigan, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
He was born July 23, 1929, in Bessemer, son of the late Alexander and Mary (Versecky) Leskoviansky.
David served in the Korean War and upon discharge came back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which he loved very much. He enjoyed working in his garden and he spent many Sunday afternoons by the shores of Lake Superior. David was a member of the Bessemer VFW. His quick wit will be missed by all.
He is survived by two daughters, Pam (Bill) Alleva, Centuria, Wisconsin, Kim (Chuck) Miles, Houston, Texas; two sisters, Carol Meyer, Elburn, Illinois, Barbara Petit, Tinely Park, Illinois; 3 grandchildren, Nicolle Eider, Lakeville, Minnesota, Nathan Miles and Aaron Miles, Houston, Texas; many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held in the spring.
