David N. Holcomb, 60, of Quinnesec, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at his home.
He was born December 5, 1952, in Lansing, Mich., where he embraced the love for playing guitar and singing which he carried out from the age of seven and had the pleasure to play in concerts with Sonny and Cher in 1966, and Amboy Dukes with Ted Nugent in 1969, along with many more. He married Bertha "Bertie" Smith-Holcomb on February 29, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
David was a comical man that always lit up a room with his humor and music that he takes with him and continues warming a new crowd and old friends.
He is loved and remembered with good memories by his children.
He is survived by his wife, Bertie; four children, David Jr. Holcomb, Jennifer Holcomb, Margaret Holcomb and Alisha Holcomb. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Bronze LeRue and Katriel Jones.
