Crystal Falls – David Lee Heikkinen, 70, of Crystal Falls, MI, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, WI.

He was born on September 20, 1955, in Crystal Falls, to the late Edward and Edna (Payne) Heikkinen.

David is survived by his wife, Dona Heikkinen; children, Kati (Justin) Nantelle, Denell (Rick) Boehmke and Brian (Tanya) Parson; grandchildren, River Nantelle, Freya Nantelle, Landyn Nantelle, Mollie Boehmke, Gage Boehmke, Brian Parson, Jr., Shae Parson, and Laycee Parson; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Tyler, and Sophia; and brothers, Larry (Yvonne) Heikkinen, Gary (Vicky) Heikkinen, Michael (Colleen) Heikkinen, Denny James, and Jerry Davidson.

Visitation will be held from 09:30 until 10:30 a.m., on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, MI. Prayers will be recited at 10:30 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls with Fr. Dan Dapaah officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Evergreen Cemetery.
