David R. Bath, 87, of Iron Mountain, passed away after a brief illness Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services, Kingsford. He was born January 26, 1926, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Russell and Buehla (Truran) Bath. David served in the United States Air Corps, serving during WWII. For many years, David ran the Bath Agency, specializing in insurance, real estate, and income taxes. He was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Iron Mountain. David will be sadly missed. He is survived by two sons, David (Joanne) Bath, Keewatin, Minn., Richard (Janet) Bath, Iron Mountain; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Vicky and a brother, John S. Bath. The visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Our Savriour's Lutheran Church, Iron Mountain. The memorial service will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday at the church. Rev. Lee Liverance will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
