Darrell D. Hanson, 66, of Pembine, Wis., passed away Friday, November 14, 2008, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home, Niagara, Wis.
He was born April 29, 1942, in Racine, Wis., son of the late George and Viola (Pulda) Hanson. Darrell grew up in Racine and graduated from Horlick High School. After high school, Darrell served in the United States Army.
Darrell married the former Nancy Trump on July 7, 1969, in Waukegan, Ill. They resided in Racine where he worked as an industrial electrician for DanFoss Co. Darrell and Nancy moved to Pembine in 2003. He enjoyed fly fishing and wood working.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Tom (Karen) Hanson, Racine, Henry (Tess) Seattle, Wash.; three daughters, Robin (Arthur) Thomas, Racine, Linda (Ron) Georgeson, Racine, Wendy (Jonah) Marciniak, Madison, Wis.; two sisters, Ester Blank, Marilyn Acklam, both of Racine; eight grandchildren, Christy, Rachel, Joshua, Sara, Jeremy, Nick, Mike, Izariah; seven great-grandchildren, Abgail, Brandon, Ashley, Andrew, Samuel, Kaylynn, Marissa; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Darrell was preceded in death by one brother, George Hanson; and one sister, Arlene Foley.
