Daniel B. Moore, 53, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at his home. He was born February 24, 1962, in Iron Mountain, Mich. son of Bert and Karen (Verley) Moore. Dan grew up in Iron Mountain and later in Commonwealth, Wis. He resided in Bradenton, Fla. for 20 years where he worked as a mechanic. In 2000, Dan moved back to Florence where he did some roofing work. He was a quiet person who enjoyed his time alone; he loved to fish. He is survived by his parents, Bert and Winona Moore, Iron Mountain; three sons, Daniel, Derek and Michael Moore, all of Florida; one brother, Dale (Lynda) Moore, Sarasota, Fla.; three sisters, Teresa (Randall) Fuller, Volcano, Calif., Lisa (Michael) Ochs and Marci (Jerry) Picucci, Iron Mountain and many nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Frazier. In accordance with Dan's wishes private family visitation and services were held. The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Dan's Legacy of Life.
