Niagara-Daniel L. "Dan" Lantagne, age 79, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at his home.

He was born June 24, 1939, in Niagara, son of the late Mitchell and Clarice (Bourassa) Lantagne. Dan graduated from Niagara High School, class of 1961. After graduation he went to work for the Niagara Paper Mill and worked there as a papermaker for 38 years until his retirement. Dan was a member of the Aurora Free Church, Aurora, Wis.

In his spare time, Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Daniel Lantagne, Florence, Wis.; two brothers, Doug Lantagne, Niagara, Wis., and Gary (Margaret) Lantagne, Arizona; two sister, Phyllis Rihtarshich, Aurora, Wis. and Delores of Texas; one grandson, Trevor (Tareeya) Lantagne.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Bill Lantagne; and one sister, Bonnie.

Graveside services will be announced in the Spring. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis.
