Dan Kolberg, 33, lovingly referred to as Danny, of Oshkosh, Wis., formerly of Florence, Wis., passed away unexpectedly, Sunday afternoon, August 24, 2008, at his home. He was born October 28, 1974. Dan's travels during his journey with us took him to many different locations where he enjoyed meeting new people, participating in the Special Olympics, and enjoying the company of his family and friends. He loved watching the Green Bay Packers in the fall and the Brewers in the spring. Keeping stats on his computer, along with an occasional Madden game, were some of his favorite pastimes. Mostly, Danny enjoyed being with his family whenever he could!! He was presented with many challenges throughout his life and will always be known as "our" hero!! Dan is survived by his mother, LaVonne (Wittman) Kolberg; father Wayne Kolberg; three sisters, Vicky Matullo, Cindy Sleeter, Dawn Kolberg; five nephews, Casey, Wayne, Eugene, Brent, Christopher; six nieces, Saunja, Brooke, Sarah, Johnna, ShellbyAnne, Sheila; one great- niece, Savannah; and one great-nephew, Caleb. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Commonwealth Cemetery, Commonwealth, Wis.
