Daniel Reitmeyer, 59, of Kingsford, passed away following a brief illness with complications on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay. He was born April 15, 1954, in Crystal Falls, son of Sally Reitmeyer Westfahl and the late Richard Reitmeyer. Dan graduated from Forest Park High School, Class of 1972. Shortly after graduation, Dan enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged after a three year stint. Dan was an avid outdoorsman and always full of fun. As per Dan's request, private family services will be held at a later date. He is survived by his mother, Sally (Russell) Westfahl, Crystal Falls; two brothers, Jim (Jill) Reitmeyer, Monument, Colo., David (Nancy) Reitmeyer, Hope, R.I.; two special aunts, Dorothy (Carl) Franzen, Crivitz, Wis., Judy (Darrell) Roy, Stoughton, Wis.; two nieces, Monika Reitmeyer, Julia Reitmeyer, both of Denver, Colo.; numerous cousins and a host of wonderful friends. In addition to his father, Richard Reitmeyer, Dan was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his uncle, David Holmes and his aunt Peggy Campfield.
