Daniel J. Adank, 88, of Wausau, Wis., passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his brother Neil's home in Crystal Falls.
He was born December 7, 1921, in Wichita, Kans., son of the late Harvey and Hilda (Volgolsburg) Adank. At 14 years of age, Daniel moved to Wausau, Wis., where he resided until January of 2010, when he moved to Crystal Falls.
Daniel served in the United States Air Force during Pearl Harbor. He loved airplanes and motorcycles. Daniel also enjoyed hiking, walking, and reading.
He is survived by one brother, Neil (Starr) Adank, Crystal Falls, nieces, nephews, great-nephew, and cousins.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Theodore, William, and Paul.

Private visitation and funeral services were held. Burial will be in Wausau in the spring.
