Dale Carlyle Broaddus, age 68, of Douglas, Wyoming, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at his home in Douglas.
He was born April 26, 1938, in Iron River, Mich., son of Edward F. and Angeline D. (Elczuk) Broaddus.
Dale was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. At the time of his death, Dale was in the process of moving back to his childhood home near Stager Lake, which he loved so dearly. He was a retired railroad brakeman for the Chicago & North Western RR and never missed a day of work in over 35 years. Dale was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his mother Angeline Broaddus; five children, Bret Anthony, Beth Ann, Aaron Matthew, Renee Lynn, Zachary Carlyle; three grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, November 16, 2006, in Douglas. Burial services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2006, from the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home to Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. Rev. Dino Silvestrini will preside at the graveside.
