Cristine Lynn Nelson, 65, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, Mich. She was born August 23, 1943, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Edgar and Betty (Boerger) Nelson. Cristine was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church, Business and Professional Women Association of Iron Mountain and Kingsford and the Community Theater. She enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes and fresh herbs, and skiing. She is survived by a son, Trae Stavinoha; and a granddaughter, Emmily Stavinoha. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Commonwealth, Wis., in the spring.
