Clyde A. Lucas, 61, of Felch, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Manor Care Health Services, Kingsford.
He was born in Iron Mountain on March 23, 1952, son of the late Clark A. and Joan (Jacobson) Lucas. He grew up in Felch and graduated from Felch High School, Class of 1970. He worked in the woods as a logger all of his life. Clyde was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting fire wood and especially spending time with his family and many friends.
Survivors include his two sons, Jake Lucas, Kingsford, Luke (Crystal) Lucas, Bellville, Ill.; one brother, Clark Lucas, Felch; two sisters, Judy Lucas, Jill (Kevin) Kuhn, Kingsford; special friends, Tammy Mattson, Roger "Buddy" Cootware, the cat Obama; two grandchildren, Annalise and Haley; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Glenn Lucas and one sister, Jerry Ann Winstanley.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22, 2013, 2 p.m., at L.C.'s Tavern in Felch for a pot-luck, to celebrate Clyde's legacy of life.
