Iron Mountain:
Clifford V. Andreoli, 75, formerly of Iron Mountain, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital, Madison, Wis.
He was born October 22, 1937, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Victor and Florence (Tousignant) Andreoli. Clifford graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1956. He went on to attend Ferris State University, Big Rapids before transferring to Northern Michigan University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Clifford's first teaching job landed him in Bessemer, Mich., where he taught History, Industrial Arts and Drivers Education. He later went on to teach at Seymour High School in Seymour, Wis.
Clifford married Karyl Hoyle July 20, 1963, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Iron Mountain. They moved to Madison in 1963, and in 1965, Clifford received his master's degree from University of Wisconsin Madison in education-administration. In 1965, Clifford became the assistant registrar at Madison Area Technical College and in 1973 was promoted to registrar, retiring in 1995.
While living in Madison, Clifford was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Madison Lodge No. 5 of the Masonic Temple, The Zor Shrine where he served as a bagpiper, and the Madison Curling Club for 40 years. He enjoyed many hobbies including woodworking and fishing.
Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Karyl; two sons, Aric Andreoli, Madison, Aren (Erie) Andreoli, Shokopee, Minn.; one sister, Anita (Jan) Bovee, Appleton, Wis.; four grandchildren, Kaiden Andreoli, Brennen Andreoli, Whitney Dow, and Alexus Dow; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, July 22, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Iron Mountain-Kingsford Masonic Lodge No. 388 will conduct a memorial service at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Mallory will officiate.
