Cleo M. Glime, 84, of Fence, Wis., passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home, Niagara, Wis. Cleo was born August 26, 1928, in Lena, Wis., daughter of the late Herbert and Verna (Bonnes) Pies. She grew up in Lena and graduated from Lena High School. Cleo married Julius Glime on October 9, 1947, in Lena. Shortly after being married they moved to Florence, Wis., where they resided until moving to Fence in 1998. She enjoyed many hobbies including; playing cards especially smear, baking, swimming, carpentry work and even drove a logging truck in the early 60's, but her most treasured times were spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cleo is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Julius; four sons, Mike (Jacqie) Glime, Florence, Pat (Sue) Glime, Aurora, Bill Glime, Kingsford, Mich., Jim Panek, Chico, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Jay (Lori), Lance (Sue), Travis (Kari), John (Sara), Mike (Debbie), Tiffany (Derrek), Nathan (Stephanie), Luke and Ashley.; thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Cleo was preceded in death by one sister, Carolla Jarvey. Private family visitation and services were held. Burial will be in the Fence Cemetery.
