Kingsford- Clarence A. Bennett, 75, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.

He was born March 18, 1947, in Santa Cruz, California, son of the late Clarence Bennett and Ruth (Haynes) Stowers. Clarence grew up and attended school in Santa Cruz. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge. Clarence worked for Grede Foundry until his retirement.

Survivors include his fiancé, Pamela Johns; one daughter, Vicki (Tony Merhalski) Duncan; one brother, Gary (Sharon) Bennett; and one sister, Elaine (Jim) Chenowith.

In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Bennett in 2013; and one brother, Richard "Dick" Dugger.

A graveside service will take place Friday, July 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain, Mich. The American Legion Post #50, Iron Mountain, Mich. will accord military honors at graveside.
