Chester S. Elczuk, 51, of Alpha, passed away Monday, November 24, 2015, at his home. He was born on May 5, 1963, son of Chester R. and Marie (Kemmett) Elczuk. Chester grew up in Alpha and graduated from Forest Park High School, Class of 1981. He worked at the George Young Golf Complex in Iron River, Mich. for many years and later was self-employed as a welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all the outdoors had to offer. He is survived by his father, Chester R. Elczuk, Crystal Falls; one brother, Carlisle "Skipper" Elczuk, Crystal Falls; one sister, Eileen (Paul) Peterson, Ishpeming, Mich., many nieces and nephews. Chester was preceded in death by his mother, Marie and two sisters, Delores Elczuk and Mary Ann Elczuk. In accordance with Chester's wishes private family visitation and services were held. The family has chosen the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls to honor Chester's Legacy of Life.
