Florence- Chelsea J. R. Jensen, age 34, of Florence, Wis., passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at her home.

She was born November 28, 1987, in Bemidji, Minn., to Curt Jensen and Bonnie (Clausen) Ferdig. Chelsea grew up in Hines, Minn., and later moved to Florence, Wis. She was a graduate of Florence High School.

Chelsea was a Florence County Dispatcher for the past 2 years. She enjoyed camping, bonfires, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her father, Curt Jensen; her mother, Bonnie (Donn Anderson) Ferdig; two brothers, Joshua (Am) Nelson, and Brent (Mariah) Gilbert-Ferdig; one sister, Julianne Augustyn; grandmothers, June Clausen and Mary Gehlhoff; and special friend, Tina Davis.

Chelsea was preceded in death by her step-mother, Pegge Jensen; grandparents, Judy Gehlhoff, Phillip Gehlhoff, Walter Clausen, Judith Brezeale, and Jack Jensen; cousins Tabitha Clausen, Jody Juelson, Allen Lincoln, and Tyrel Kuiawinski; and one niece, Hanna Mae Gilbert.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis. A celebration of Chelsea's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Archer Leupp officiating.
