Charles Ronan, 79, of Goodman, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, at Golden Living Center, Florence. He was born August 10, 1935, in Glen Falls, N.Y. son of the late Albert and Marion (Farrel) Ronan. Charles grew up in Glen Falls, N.Y. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954, until his retirement in 1974. Charles married Sharon Kitzman in 1956, in Chicago, Ill. He enjoyed playing chess, fishing, working in the garden and traveling. Charles read a lot and enjoyed sports, especially golf. Charles is survived by one son, Larry (Sue) Ronan, Newport News, Va.; two daughters, Patricia and Linda Ronan, both of Goodman; one sister, Betty Lokey; four grandchildren, David (Katie) Ronan, Jonathan Ronan, Nicole (Mathew) Dressler and Christine (Steve) DeVane and three great-grandchildren, Alana, Melody and Bella. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon and two brothers, Robert and Albert Ronan. Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman.
