Charles Paquette, Jr., 52, of Pound, Wis., formerly of Niagara, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 16, 2012, at the Shawano Medical Center, Shawano.
He was born January 30, 1960, in Iron Mountain, son of Charles and Barbara (Schuls) Paquette. Charles married Kimberly Lewis on May 8, 1982, at the First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain.
Charles was a heavy equipment operator for BCF Construction Company. He was a member of the Operating Engineer Local 139. He also worked for Cape Construction Company of Racine and Gustafson Construction Company of Belgium, Wis.
He enjoyed cars, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and most importantly, his family.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly, Pound; two loving daughters, Amanda (Dennis Nicholson) Paquette, Aimee (Corey Sticker) Paquette; one granddaughter, Madelyn Grace; parents, Charles and Barbara Paquette; mother-in-law, Sandra Schutz; maternal great-grandmother, Myrl Sicotte; one brother, Allie (Becky) Paquette; one sister, Veronica (Howard Butterfield) Dixon; two brothers-in-law, Tim (Esther Caldwell) Lewis, Rick (Penny) Lewis; one sister-in-law, Teri Lindstrom; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lori Moriarity.
The visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Celebrant Steven Cuggino will officiate.
