Obituary

Charles "Chas" E. Hetzer, 27, of Florence, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his home.
He was born December 12, 1985, in New London, Wis., son of Theodore "Ted" and Margaret "Peg" (Mohr) Hetzer. Chas moved to Florence at the age of 2. He attended school in Florence until the 8th grade at which time he was homeschooled by his family and graduated.
Chas was always very active and had many jobs including his paper route, Dina Mia's, Pride Manufacturing, and Aurora Castings. He enjoyed traveling all over with his family to attend many antique motorcycle shows.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Florence where he attended Sunday School while growing up. Chas was active in 4-H, soccer, wrestling, baseball, football, and archery. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and was an avid reader, studying history and religion. Chas treasured the time that he spent with his daughter Hallee going for walks, playing in the park, and reading to her. He will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends too many to list.
Chas is survived by his parents, Ted and Peg Hetzer, Crystal Falls, Mich.; his special friend and love, Terri Skog, Iron Mountain; one daughter, Hallee Hetzer, Iron Mountain; two brothers, Dillon and Darron Hetzer, both of Florence; four uncles, Frank (Judy) Mohr, Laona, Matthew (Ruth Ann) Mohr, Pembine, Mark (Arlene) Mohr, Niagara, Loren Hetzer, Reno, Nev.; three aunts, Holly Hetzer (Kae Buelow), Glendale, Virginia Dollar, Florence, Brenda Mohr, Florence; numerous cousins and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian Mohr and Edward and Helen Hetzer; two uncles, Mike Mohr and Charles Mohr; and one cousin, David Mohr.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. A celebration of life service will be held 4:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Douglas Johnson will officiate.
