Cemone M. Anderson, 57, Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away peacefully Friday, April 18, 2008, at her home surrounded by family. She was born September 19, 1950, in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of Claire (McCraw) Johnson Wood and the late Chester Johnson. Cemone was raised in Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1968. She married David Anderson in 1995. After being married they resided in Crystal Falls. Cemone worked for the Dickinson-Iron Health Department for 17 years as a nurse. She was a member of United Lutheran Church and Life Member and Past President of the V.F.W. Post No. 2891 Auxiliary, Crystal Falls. Cemone especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving husband, David Anderson; her dear loving mother, Claire Johnson Wood, Crystal Falls; five children, Mark (Pam) Manincor, Iron Mountain, Lisa Schabel, Florence, Wis., David (Nikki) Anderson, Flint, Mich., Rayleen (Brian) Semke, Crystal Falls, Nathan Manincor; Nanny of 12 special angels, Jamie, Courtney, Chanel, Hailey, Liberty, Noah, Kayla, Cemone, Paris, Nathan, Jeffery, Kolby; and one brother, Chester Johnson, Madison, Wis., Besides her father, Cemone was preceded in death by one sister, Claudette and one grandson, Andrew. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at United Lutheran Church, Crystal Falls. The V.F.W. Auxiliary will offer a tribute service Tuesday, 10:45 a.m., at the church. Memorial service Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pastor Michael Laakko will officiate.
