Catherine Williamson, 100, of Florence, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, at the Golden Living Center, Florence. She was born October 30, 1914, in Lynn, Mass., daughter of the late Samuel and Lucille (Shields) Williamson. Catherine worked in Chicago, Ill for many years at an Electronics Factory and moved to Florence in 1990, to be closer to her niece. She loved to read. She is survived by her niece Edith Dunn, Florence and numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Jr. and Eugene Williamson and three sisters, Hester Johnson, Emma Geise and Florence Hinz. In accordance with Catherine's wishes private family services were held. The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Catherine's Legacy of Life.
