Florence: Catherine L. Terrien age 92, of 324 Kolman Avenue, Florence, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 02, 2003, at the Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence, Wisconsin. Catherine was born in Florence, Wisconsin, November 20, 1910, daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Merhalski) Vross. Catherine grew up and lived in Florence her entire life. She married George Terrien in 1945. George preceded her in death in 1996. Catherine worked at the Florence Villa for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also the Young at Heart Club. She is survived by two brothers Edward (Alice) Vross of Connecticut, and Joseph Vross of Two Rivers, WI, one sister Helen (Lawrence) Rosa of Crystal Falls, many nieces and nephews and a dear friend Ethel Johnson. Besides her parents and husband, George, Catherine was preceded in death by four brothers, Adam (Prena) Vross, Chester (Bernice) Vross, John (Marcella) Vross, Stanley (Alberta) Vross, one sister-in-law Cecelia (Joseph) Vross and one nephew Brede Vross. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4, 2003, from 5-7 p.m., at Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence, Wisconsin. There will also be a prayer service Thursday morning at the funeral home at 9:30a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00a.m.at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Florence. Father Ray Valerio will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Commonwealth, Wisconsin.
