Iron Mountain: Catherine Bacca age 75, of 812 North Kimberly Avenue, Iron Mountain died Friday July 4, 2003. Catherine was born on June 5, 1928 in Iron Mountain daughter of the late David and Rose (Cavicchioni) Castori. Catherine married Julius Bacca in 1950 at which time they moved to Flint were they resided. While in Flint she worked for AC Spark Plug Division and retired from there. Catherine moved back to Iron Mountain in 1982. She was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic church, and was a member of the UAW Local #651. Catherine is survived by; Two daughters, Kathaleen and her sister, Rose along with her husband Dennis Nardi all of Daytona Beach, Florida. One son, Julius Jr. of Flint, MI., One grandson, Jason Nardi and two great grandchildren, Andrew and Brandon Nardi. All of whom she loved and cherished dearly. She was preceded by her husband Julius H. Bacca Sr. in 1968. The family would like to express a very special thank you to cousin, Helen Muller who lovingly cared for Catherine the last 15 years. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Prayers will be recited Tuesday 11:30AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 12noon at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Iron Mountain. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
