Florence- Carol C. Scott, 79, of Florence, Wis., passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Florence Health Services, Florence, Wis. She was born August 17, 1941, in Sagola, Mich., daughter of the late Harvey and Beatrice (Jensen) Lynch. Carol was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, class of 72. She married Floyd G. Scott on April 6, 1962, in Quinnesec, Mich. They lived in Sturgeon Bay, Black Creek, and moved to Iron Mountain in 1968, later moving to Florence in 1972. Floyd preceded her in death on March 26, 2003. Carol enjoyed gardening, which she took on at a young age, canning and especially taking care of her family. Survivors include two sons, Gaylord Scott, Florence, Wis., and Anthony (Sinem) Scott, Lansing, Mich.; three daughters, Rhonda Lancelle and Denise Hill, both of Green Bay, Wis., and Amanda (Lionel) Lauren, Vulcan, Mich.; many beloved grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Floyd, Carol was preceded in death by six brothers, Roland Babcock, Robert Babcock, Earl Lynch, Carl Lynch, Ralph Babcock, and Richard Babcock; and by one sister, Ruth Clark.
