Florence – Carol Sue Pietrantonio Bowman, 68, of Florence, Wisc., passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Marshfield Clinic Dickinson, Iron Mountain.

Carol was born on December 2, 1953, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to the late Floyd William and Geraldine Delores (Hughes) Pietrantonio.

Carol graduated from Custer High School, Milwaukee, Wisc., class of 1971. After high school, she worked as a beautician until she went on to receive her nursing license. Carol graduated from Bay College as a registered nurse, class of 1992. She worked as the charge nurse at Florence Villa Nursing Home for a couple of years. Carol then took a position as Director of Nursing at Mary Hill Manor, Niagara. She was very active in the Niagara community.

Carol married the love of her life, Joseph Bowman on October 18, 2002, in Florence. Her family, her precious granddaughter Payton, and taking care of the elderly were her greatest joys. Carol loved getting together to reminisce, gossip, and most of all laugh.

Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph Bowman; son, Louie Bowman of Green Bay; daughter, Anna Garcia-Bowman of Florence; granddaughter, Payton Bowman; sister, Margaret (Pietrantonio) Napientek of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, William J. Pietrantonio.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Florence, Wisc., on Thursday, June 30, 2022. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Albert Balderas officiating.
