Calvin Fite CRYSTAL FALLS — Calvin R. Fite, 90, of Superior Avenue, Crystal Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Iron County General Hospital in Iron River. Calvin "Red" Fite was born July 8, 1912, in Verdin, Ill., son of the late Virgil and Lela Fite. He spent his childhood in Carlinville, Ill. He is survived by his wife, Muriel; a son, Gerald Fite of Springfield, Ill.; a stepson, Jim Reid and grandson, Robert Reid of Crystal Falls. His wishes were for no service.
