Bruno E. Pesonen, 89, of Crystal Falls, died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at his home. He was born June 13, 1917, in Greenland, Mich., son of the late Charles and Helmi Pesonen. He married Hildur Snell and she preceded him in death on July 20, 2002. Bruno was a retired miner with the Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon (Armand) Ross, Grand Marais, Carrie Pesonen, Crystal Falls; three grandchildren, David, Darrin, and Dale Ross; and four great-grandchildren, Corissa, Jesse, Jessica, and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Melvin on March 6, 1960, and two brothers, William and Sulo Pesonen. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
