Kingsford – Bruce V. Bray, 75, of Kingsford, Mich. passed away peacefully at his sons' home in Elgin, Ill. on Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was born on August 23, 1944, Laurium, Mich. son of the late John and Viola (Poquette) Bray. He graduated from DePaul Academy, Chicago, Ill. class of 1962. Bruce married Jennifer Widell on September 25, 1971, in Illinois. Jennifer preceded him in death on October 23, 2017. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier in Des Plaines, Ill from 1971 until he retired in 2001 and moved to Kingsford, Mich. 2002. Bruce enjoyed fishing and golfing as well as time spent with his family. He is survived by one son Erik Bray, Elgin, Ill.; and one sister Barbara (Edward) Lloyd, Indian Head Park, Ill.; and two grandchildren MacKenzie and Devyn Bray.
