Iron Mountain:
Bobbie Lucas, age 82, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, died Sunday, August 1, 2004, at Manor Care Health Services in Kingsford, Michigan.
Bobbie was born January 16, 1922, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late John and Lena (Mortl) Koller. She is a life long resident of Iron Mountain and a graduate of Iron Mountain High School. Bobbie married Joseph Lucas in July of 1961 in Iron Mountain.
She worked many years at the sewing factory; Happy's Café and owned the Last Chance for many years. She enjoyed many hobbies including crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, and traveling to the casino on the buses. She was also a member of the Koller Birthday Club since it began in the 1940's.
Survivors include her husband Joseph, one daughter Barbara (John Remer) Edwards of Iron Mountain, one sister Bertha Dulan of Iron Mountain, her grandchildren Roxanne (Paul) Holton of Niagara, Eric Edwards of Iron Mountain and Joe and Tina Tousignant of Kingsford, five great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, Jennie, Mary and Gert Koller, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Bobbie is preceded by two sons Tom and Ricky Tousignant also many brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 4, 2004, from 11- 1:30 at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 1:30p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Rev. David Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
