Beverly J. Suardini, 86, of Fence, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rhinelander, Wisconsin. She was born June 16, 1926, in Harbor Beach, Mich., daughter of the late George and Mildred (Muter) Pochert. Beverly grew up in Port Hope, Mich. and at the age of seven moved to Ralph, Mich., where she attended school. She graduated from Felch High School in 1944. Beverly married Frank Suardini, Jr., on December 10, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wis. They made their home in Milwaukee for 44 years before moving to Fence in 1992. Beverly's life was centered around her family and friends and occasionally enjoyed a trip to the casino with them. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank, Jr.; one son, Frank (Debbie) Suardini, III, West Bend, Wis.; one daughter Karen (John) Matysik, Russell, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jason Matysik, Nicole Matysik and Stacey Adams; three great-grandchildren, Delanie, Mariah and Jayden; one brother-in-law, David Haferkorn, Pewaukee, Wis.; numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by four sisters, Georgina Terranova, Wanda Jacobson, Joan Bresser and Karen Haferkorn. Visitation will be Thursday, August 30, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. the Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Lehmann will officiate. Entombment will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
