Betty Jean Hall, 75, of Republic, Mich., died Monday, September 14, 2009, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Upper Peninsula Home Health and Hospice. She was born March 23, 1934, in Helena, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel (Ellis) Lerch and step-mother, Myrene (Hetrick) Lerch. Betty married Eugene Hall on September 29, 1961, in Addison, Illinois. Betty is survived by her husband, Eugene Hall, Sr., Republic; two daughters, Lisa (James, Sr.) Barmantje, Lagrange, Ky., Cheryl (Thomas) Schrems, Sugar Grove, Ill.; one son, Gene (Kelley) Hall, Jr., Naperville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Michael Hall, Jamie Hall, James Barmantje, Jr., Megan Barmantje, Brian Barmantje, Todd Schrems, Christina Schrems, Colleen Schrems; one sister, Shirley (Walter) Wickliffe, Republic; one brother, Ralph (Violet) Lerch, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
