Bernice Genevieve Hildremyr, 90, of Niagara, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010, at North Memorial Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn.
She was born March 21, 1920, in Niagara, daughter of the late Martin and Stella (Kososki) Bradtke of Niagara. Bernice graduated from Niagara High School, Class of 1937. When she was in High School, she began working for the Vocational School.
Bernice married Peter C. Hildremyr in 1941; he preceded her in death in 1988. She worked for Kimberly-Clark Paper Mill and retired with Pentair in 1985. Bernice was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara. She and Pete enjoyed going to their cabin, traveling, playing cards, and entertaining.
She is survived by one brother, Wallace R. Bradtke (Jean Wallenfang) of Winchester, Tenn., one brother-in-law, Alex Bresin of Tulsa, Okla.; four nieces, Nancy (Lonnie) Todd, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Jane Lamb of Jasper, Tenn., Debra Cone of Minneapolis, Minn., Diane Bresin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and one nephew, Terry Bresin of Everett, Wash.
Bernice was preceded in death by one sister, Geridine Bresin, 2010.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Niagara Cemetery. Rev. Matt Settle will officiate. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
