Bernard K. Dale, 96, of Crystal Falls, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Northstar Health System, Iron River. He was born June 6, 1913, in Darlington, Indiana, son of the late Bert and Annabelle (Shaffer) Dale. He married Elsie R. Dunbar on November 7, 1940, in Aurora, Ill. She preceded him in death on September 10, 2007. Survivors include one son, James Dale, Bremerton, Wash.; and one daughter, Jane (G. Ward) Stearns, Naperville, Ill. There will be no services.
