Beatrice "Bea" (Paulow) Sacheck passed away Friday, July 1, 2011, at Florida Hospital in Winter Park. She was born March 9, 1926, in Two Rivers, Wis., daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Paulow and later moved with her family to Crystal Falls. She was the only daughter of six children. Bea married Bernard Sacheck of Crystal Falls in 1947. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1966. They had three children Ted, Gary, and Tim. Besides raising her three children, Bea developed her golf game under the tutelage of her husband and went on to be the Women's Club Champion in Crystal Falls multiple times. A few years after her husband Bernard's death, Bea moved to Indiana where she received a bachelor degree from the University of Indiana and became a registered nurse. In 1989, she married William Geil in Elkhart, Ind. Bill was a licensed pilot and Bea got the "bug" to fly and earned her pilot's license. Bill and Bea retired and moved in the early 1990's into their new home in North Fort Myers, Fla., in an airpark with their own hangar. Bea went on to log in over 500 flight hours. Her husband, Bill, passed away in 2002. Bea stayed on and kept up her home on the lake until illness forced her to move closer to immediate family in Winter Park where she passed away on July 1st. Bea's children remember her as a great Mom, a great cook of venison and apple pie, an excellent seamstress, athletic, and creative as demonstrated in her art work and quilt making. She is survived by three children, Ted (Pam) Sacheck, Jeffersonville, Ind., Gary (Shirley) Sacheck, Winter Park, Tim (Sandy) Sacheck, Woodlands, Tex.; one brother, Ted (June) Paulow, Kingwood, Tex.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. We Miss You! Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate.
