Niagara- Barbara A. Stark, 88, of Niagara, Wisc., passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.

Barbara was born June 24, 1934, in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of the late Ceasar and Marion (Sonaglia) Badini. She grew up in Iron Mountain and was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, class of 1952. Barbara married Louis Stark on August 10, 1957. Following marriage, they resided in Niagara. Louis preceded Barbara in death on December 6, 2022.

Barbara was a receptionist for Gouletts Cold Storage from 1953 until 1957. She felt fortunate to be able to be a stay-at-home mother and raise her children and in her later years spending time with her grandchildren, and then great-grandchildren. Barbara loved family get-togethers, and she was the go-to babysitter for the neighborhood.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel (Dorothy) Stark, West DePere, Wisc., and David Stark, Niagara, Wisc.; three daughters, Linda (Jim) Hoogland, Niagara, Wisc., Lori (Brad) Staedt, Iron Mountain Mich., and Mary (Jim) Stankevich, Niagara, Wisc.; grandchildren; Brittany, Emilie (Trevor), Courtney (Julian), Zachary, Mitchell, Jessica (Sam), Nicole (Aaron), Mason, Dominic, great-grandchildren; Ben, Eli, Warrick, Amorn, and Lillian, plus one great-granddaughter expected in July; and sisters, Virginia (Michael) Laurin, Ishpeming, Mich., Tresa Armbruster, Hudson. Fla., Rosemary LeClaire, Iron Mountain, Mich., and Joann Seymour, Humbolt, Tex.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Louis, Barbara was preceded in death by one son, Hal Stark in 1963; a granddaughter, Kymberly Garvaglia; two brothers, Victor and Ronald Badini; and two sisters, Gloria Kuder and Marcella Angeli.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wisc. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara, Wisc. Fr. Quinn Mann will officiate. Burial will take place in Niagara Cemetery.

The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wisc., to honor Barbara's legacy of life.
