Barbara Kay Prudhomme, 66, of Homestead, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at her home. She was born January 19, 1946 in Muskegon, Mich., daughter of the late Ollie and Emmalena (Fulkerson) Jackson. Barbara grew up in Lansing, Mich. and graduated from Eastern High School in 1964. She married Jerry Prudhomme on June 19, 1993 in Iron Mountain. Barbara was a waitress at the Kingsway Restaurant and also worked for the Florence County School System. She loved gardening and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Jerry, Homestead; one son, Jason (Danielle) Prudhomme, Dayton, Tex.; and one brother, Ed Jackson, Tennessee.
