Barbara Kipina, 70, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Friday, June 8, 2007, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born December 30, 1936, in Calumet, Mich., daughter of the late Edward and Violet (Peurasaari) Liikala. She married John Kipina December 20, 1963 in Calumet. Barb was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and knitting. She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Steve (Sheryl) Raisanen, Lakeville, Minn., Ken (Myrna) Raisanen, Duluth, Minn.; two daughters, Debra (Tim) Volk, Bloomington, Minn., Kathie Donahue, Duluth; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy (Gary) Brusso, Laurium, Mich. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2007, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel.
