Barbara "Barb" Marie Kephart, 88, of Crystal Falls, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born Friday, April 24, 1925, in Crosby MN., daughter of the late Andrew and Tracy (Infelt) Northburg. Barb graduated from Crosby High School in 1942. Barb married Leonard R. Kephart on January 13, 1944, and he preceded her in death in March 1993. They moved to Crystal Falls in 1963. Barb is survived by a son, Steve (Bunny) Kephart of Mundelien, IL and three daughters, Peg (John) Kirkpatrick of Daggett, Mich., Shirley Kephart of Crystal Falls and Marlene (Dave) Stuczynski of Milwaukee, Wis.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. The visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2013, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. The funeral service will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral Home. Rev. Nathan Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
