Barbara L. Dario, 59, of Crystal River, Fla., formerly of Felch, Mich., passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River.
She was born March 1, 1949, in Felch, daughter of Lucille (Dixon) Stephan and the late Edwin Oman. Barbara was raised in Felch and graduated from North Dickinson High School in 1973. She married David Dario on August 4, 1976, in Iron Mountain. After being married, they moved to Crystal River.
Barbara was a great cook and worked at various supper clubs in the area. She knew the things that were truly important in life; faith, hope, and love. Closest to her heart was her love for her family and friends. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Many hours were spent enjoying the simple pleasures in life, fishing and hunting with her husband, Dave, having friends over for coffee, babysitting the grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music, and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Dario, Crystal River; mother, Lucille Stephan, Felch; son, Lee Blomquist, Felch; daughter, Angela (Keith) Pouliot, Seminole, Fla.; two step-sons, Todd (Elisa) Dario, Wildwood, Fla., Tim (Jennifer) Dario, Felch; one step-daughter, Tracy VanBeek, Iron Mountain; three brothers, Ronald Oman, Robert Oman, Scott Oman, all of Felch; two sisters, Shirley (Norman) Skogman, Foster City, Mich., Wanda (Eric) Sloan, Iron Mountain; two step-sisters, Gayle Stephan, Kingsford, Mich., Loann (Donn) Farrell, Felch; one step-brother, Jeff (Karen) Stephan, Felch; ten grandchildren, Benjamin Smith, Nathaniel and Nicholas Pouliot, Anthony and Kaitlyn Dario, Dylan and Sierra Dario, Dane Dario, Nicholas and Hailey VanBeek; many nieces, nephews, aunts; and beloved dog, Annie Girl.
Besides her father, Edwin Oman, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, James Oman, and one sister, Carol Aichner.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. The memorial service will be Saturday, 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Bill Jacobson will officiate.
