Aunny H. Hultquist, 102, of Duluth, Ga., formerly of Crystal Falls, Mich., died on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Plantation South Assisted Living in Duluth. For the past seven years, she has resided at Plantation South. Aunny made many friends there and was very well loved by the staff. She recently celebrated her 102nd birthday with her daughters, Claire and Donna, and son, Conrad, along with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Aunny was born on April 24, 1910 in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Bruno and Fanny (Norgard) Osterby and was raised in Crystal Falls. She attended Oshkosh Teachers College where she met and married, Donald Hultquist. He preceded her in death. Aunny and Donald retired to Crystal Falls and lived there twenty-five years, before moving to Georgia. She is survived by her children, Claire Wills, David Conrad Hultquist and Donna Marcus; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Aunny was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Roy Osterby; and one sister, Ainie Woelffer. Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
