Arvilla A. Voltattorni, 84, of Florence, passed away peacefully Friday, August 12, 2011, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, with her family by her side.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., on July 6, 1927. Arvilla lived for many years on the South Side of Chicago before moving to Webster, Wis., in the early 1980s. In March of 2011, she moved to Florence.
Arvilla is survived by one son, David Smith, Morton Grove, Ill.; two daughters, Terri (Albert) Kremer, Steger, Ill., Laura (William) Walker, Florence; three sisters, Cheryl (Lawrence) Matrious, Danbury, Wis., Marlys Thayer, Danbury, Beverly (James) Thoms, Alsip, Ill.; three brothers, Frank "Bud" Elliott, Dyer, Ind., Clyde Elliott, Momence, Ill., Dick (Jean) Huntoon, Tomahawk, Wis.; five grandchildren, Joseph (Theresa) Escoe, Jr., Rachel (Chad) Rutnicki, Shannon Conroy, Emma Kremer, Allison Kremer; six great-grandchildren, Brandi, Zoe, Adison, JT, Evan, Pepper; many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth; three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, 26530 N. Lakeland Ave., Webster, Wisconsin. The memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
