Arthur Juroff, 83, of Crystal Falls, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the Oscar G. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center, Iron Mountain.
He was born October 5, 1926, in Benton Harbor, Mich., son of the late Henry and Olga (Kunst) Juroff. Arthur married the former Caroline L. Lolmaugh on June 12, 1948, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Niles, Mich.
Arthur worked as a pressman for Rand McNally, Hammond, Ind., and later for Cuneo Press, Kokomo, Ind. He and Caroline lived in Kokomo for 15 years. After retiring, Arthur and Caroline moved to Niles and later to Crystal Falls.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Louis Bowman Post. No. 87 American Legion, Crystal Falls, and Sion Lutheran Church, Amasa, Mich. Arthur enjoyed fishing, gardening, and activities at the Senior Center in Crystal Falls. He and Caroline also volunteered their time delivering Meals-On-Wheels.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Juroff, Crystal Falls; one son, Daniel A. (Joy) Juroff, Glenwood, Ill.; two daughters, Alison M. (Terry) Bailey, Galveston, Ind., Christine K. Carroll, Kokomo; eight grandchildren, Nathan (Jeannette) Juroff, Nicole (Trent) Nettleton, Angela (David) Finley, Hope (Andrew) Moore, Christopher (Jacqlyn) Carroll, Amber Carroll, Amanda Carroll, Amanda (Nicholas) Turner; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rev. Henry Juroff, Fond du Lac, Wis., Leonard (Pauline) Juroff, Coloma, Mich.; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Juroff; and a son-in-law, Randy Carroll.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Gary L. Markworth will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, in the spring. The East Side Veterans Council will conduct a Pass-In-Review ceremony, 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
