Arlene L. Keller, age 63, of Channing, Mich. and formerly of Anderson, Ind. died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Dickinson Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain, Mich.
She was born November 23, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. daughter of the late Charles Keller and Anne (Cohen) Hardt. On November 15, 1985 in Anderson, Ind. she married Monte Keller. He survives.
Arlene moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan four years ago after visiting for many years. She loved the out-of-doors, enjoyed fishing and being a ham radio operator.
She is survived by her husband, Monte Keller, Channing; three daughters, Audrey Roberts, Anita Hillard, both of Indianapolis, Ind., Annette Boyer, Ohio; two sons, Aaron Shapiro and Alec Shapiro, both of Lebanon, Ind.; 12 grandchildren, and one sister Gayle Wolfe, Chicago, Ill.; and two brothers, Jay Davis, Chicago, Ill. and Alan Davis, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Derek Carper.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, Mich. Burial in the Channing Cemetery, Sagola township, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers the family directs any memorials to the American Cancer Society.
