Apryll D. Curtis, 30, of Crystal Falls, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 22, 2009, at her home. She was born April 16, 1979, in Crystal Falls, daughter of Edward and Frances (Contardi) Curtis. Apryll grew up in Crystal Falls and graduated from Crystal Falls High School, Class of 1999. She worked at Jubilee Foods as a greeter and customer service representative for nine years. Apryll enjoyed her job, she loved visiting with the customers and helping them. Apryll was a member of Guardian Angles Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. She enjoyed bowling with her friends, listenting to music as well as playing music, especially country music, and she could always be found working on her computer. She is survived by her mother, Frances "Petey" Curtis, Crystal Falls; three aunts, Candace Contardi, Billings, Mont., Sheri (Kevin) Dockery, Garland, Tex., Kim Curtis, Kingsford; six uncles, Pat (Cindy) Curtis, Kingsford, Tom (Theresa) Curtis, Waterford, Calif., Mike (Tina) Curtis, Marinette, Wis., Roy Curtis, Las Vegas, Nev.; Richard Contardi, Rockyford, Colo., Derrold (Val) Contardi, Caspian; a very special friend, Laila VanderWall, Crystal Falls; and numerous cousins. Apryll was preceded in death by her father, Edward Curtis on December 23, 2007. She was loved and will be remembered by many special friends from across the country.
