Amasa, Michigan
Annette "Netta" Danielson, 80, of Amasa, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette.
She was born on November 13, 1930, in Amasa, daughter of the late Marino and Josephine (LiBardi) Kenney. Netta was a lifelong resident of Amasa and graduated from Amasa High School, Class of 1948. She married Lawrence Danielson on February 24, 1953, in Alpha. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Netta was a clerk for many years at F&S Grocery, Crystal Falls, and later was Director at the Senior Citizens Center in Amasa. Netta was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, and crocheting.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Danielson, Amasa, Michael (Helen) Danielson, Roselle, Ill.; one brother, Emil Kenney, Amasa; two grandchildren, Karen (David) Grigbsy, Woodstock, Ill., Scott (Susan) Danielson, Chicago, Ill.; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by four brothers, Robert, Jerry, David, and Leo Kenney; and one sister, Frances Jacobinski.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in Hematite Township Cemetery, Amasa.
