Obituary

IRON MOUNTAIN — Anne M. Seymour, 83, of Iron Mountain died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford. Anne was born Oct. 4, 1918, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Carmen and Domenica (Pietrantonio) DiUlio. She was the devoted wife of John Seymour, who preceded her in death in 1984. Anne was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time and caring for her many grandchildren. She also enjoyed Italian cooking and loved to share her skills and recipes with family and friends. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and loved the traditions, shopping and and decorating for the holidays. She also loved dancing and music, which is one of the many things she passed on to her children. Anne also liked to discuss politics. Anne was devoted to St. Anthony and the rosary. She was an active member of St. Anthony's Parish in Niagara, where she was a member for 43 years. She was employed as a co-manager for Mister Donut of Iron Mountain. Anne is survived by two sons, Gary (Betty) Seymour of Pembine, Wis. and Joel (Penny) Seymour of Appleton, Wis.; a daughter, Michele (Bob) Reynolds of West Bend, Wis.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three sisters, Irma Sherman and Barbara (John) Fiorucci of Iron Mountain and Chris Lonsdorf of Houghton; three brothers, Nels (Dorie) Larson of Monterey, Calif., Robert Larson of Lansing, Kan. and Charles Larson of Iron Mountain; three sisters-in-law, Rita Larson of Iron Mountain, Bernice Wedin of Milwaukee and Margaret Seymour of Kingsford; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain. Pallbearers will be Jason, Dan and Scott Seymour, Nathan and Bob Reynolds and Rick Sherman. The Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain is serving the family.
